4:88s or 5:29s

With 33s 4.88s to 5.29s are only a 250rpm difference.
Now as far as strength 4.88s are rec for 33s
35s on 4.88s are not warrantied/rec at least from the shops that I looked into
I run 33s now plan on 35s but also don’t want to lose the little leg room I have already.
I put 35s on the runner just to see where my rpm’s would be and it put me right back to where I was on 33s and 4.20s witch is great.
I love the 5.29s wouldn’t change it at all
It is definitely some getting used to when driving in the hwy cause the next thing I know I’ll look down and my rpm’s are at 3k -3200 and I’m going 75-80mph
If you keep it at 60-65mph rpm’s are still a little high as the pic I posted before show but nothing terrible.

The jump from 4.3 to 4.88 is similarly around a 300.RPM increase
I used grimmjeeper.com to get all my gearing questions answered and model different ratios

The 2-3 4.88 instructions & warranties I've read have mentioned 33s as largest stock size with 35s requiring additional installation considerations and vehicle modifications like wheel offsets and clearancing

East coast gear supply warranties any ratio up to 35 inch tires.

Read the fine print.
It says 4.88s with 35s is at their discretion
Idk I just feel like if something is going to break it’s going to break no matter what
I broke my factory gears and that’s what started this thread

Do you have a link to where you are reading that? I’m looking at their warranty information page (ECGS WARRANTY POLICY) and it doesn’t say anything about gear ratio.

“Warranty on 8", V6 & Elocker Toyota diffs is limited to 35 inch tires with a stock Toyota motor. Tire size over 35 inches will be warrantied at our discretion, if it is a set up error we will take care of it, regardless of tire size. But if your running 35's and up and beating it offroad we can only do so much.”
