How old is it? It looks a bit old. Be sure you are standing away if you use it just in case it snaps. That stuff does lose some of it's strength and elasticity as they get old. That's why climbing ropes are supposed to be retired after 4 years, even if they sat on the shelf the whole time.

Still a great find though, I'd take it for $4.
