All that is above the door opening in my garage. I dont know what your talking about with "the rods that stick out when you put the door up". Mine is a typical sectional overhead door that rolls up on a track.

Depending on the garage door opener, it may have some parts that come below the level of the door. Definitely check to make sure you don't have something that will create a long scratch on the roof!

I really like the new look, ready for any type of terraine look
What did you do about the stability control system, did you have any problems with it, or removed it .... if not do you notice a diference on the way it rides now compare to before the lift ...

I couldn't tell the different of the stability control system. I didn't remove it. The ride almost the same. The only different is the "take off" at the stop light a bit slower due to bigger tires. No biggie to me.
