So post lift, I am noticing a significant amount of bounciness to my truck. :jaw drop: I'm sure it's something as to how I have it setup. I also installed the LR UCA's at the same time. I installed the lift and followed the directions for both the lift and the UCA's. Plus where torque specs were not listed I tried to follow what the Chiltons/Haynes manual states as far as torque settings. The only thing you can't really torque is upper bolt for the rear shocks.
After yesterday's break-in drive to and from work, yes I did previously drive it around the block and re-torqued things. I noticed that when you come to a stop the truck bounces forward and back for a few seconds. I found that the rear shocks no longer had the same compression on the bushings anymore. So I tightened them again to having a bit of a bulge, I went from two threads showing to now about 6 threads on each side. This improved it but not completely, it is still noticeable.
The only other thing I probably need to check is the rear sway bar links as those were a challenge to tighten, as I only had my big 3ft long 20-250ft lb torque wrench.
I have not adjusted the coil-overs from what they came preset. I measured the center of the hub to the top of the wheel well, everything is pretty even for the most part.
Front Driver side - 27
Front Passenger side - 27.75
Rear Driver side - 28
Rear Passenger side- 28.5
I have not done my alignment yet, as I'm waiting for everything to settle. Also since my pic of the suspension doesn't have the swaybar attached, it is reinstalled. Speaking of which, the sway-bar is super close to the front coil-overs.
ALSO..... So I don't get any this thread is worthless without pics, I have attached the ones I happen to have on my phone, since I'm posting this from there.
