4R Car Cover recommendations

Hi guys,

Snow season came in early here in the North East. Not too much yet but it got me thinking to get cover my much love 5th 4R. I'm looking for recommendations, anybody experience custom coverking? Pretty pricey at 545.00 usd for the storm material. I don't mind paying that much as long as its worth it.

I've always lived in the NorthEast with heavy snows. If you have a heated garage it's great. If you don't and you drive your vehicle daily, I cannot imagine having to deal with the inconvenience of pulling off a snow covered, half frozen car cover each day, putting it somewhere to thaw and dry only to have to do it all over again the next day. Also I can't say that I've ever seen anyone doing that around here.

When I lived In Illinois I did not have a garage, (for the first winter only). The best cover for that winter was a custom cut piece of carboard for the front windshield. Saved hours of scraping!
