So i decide to paint a bit tonight. mainly bumpers braking back plates, axle and some on the frame.
Need to do the finish on the inside door a bit nicer later.

So after the first coat on Friday with a struggling paint gun, i re-mask around again with new (blue) tape to overlap the paintline and cover over the yellow epoxy spots that shown..

I put on second coat today with a new spraygun, the layer got a bit thicker now.. and also sprayed a bit on the frame and where i have remowed some rust earlier under the floor..
Will have a wax surface layer at the end.

Prepared the brakeshoe clearence and set it to a tight 0.8mm before the cable will be attached. Standard clearence will be 0.6mm.

The new drums got a first layer of caliper paint as well..just to hold the rust out for a while.

Thank you guys for nice feedback.

It is some of the work i wish i could go back and do a bit better on the frame, but it should be ok, i had some space issues with the first welding mask and the work was a bit pain in the ass until i got the slim welding mask, it make much work a lot easyer and probably some nicer welds.... but for now it will be what it is on this car. lol.

Today i did finish the last of the FrontBumper-end hangers, cause those new ones i bought was for a Toyota Tacoma or thundra or so.. i could see after the part number for the right one was very much more expencive from the local toyota dealer... so i decide to cut, bend and weld them so they at least fit enought.

Did not care so much about the finish.. but they should do the work.
They will for sure get some rust protection/paint at end.

Also add some copper spray to the hubs and installed the drums.

-På disse trommlene vaska eg godt med breakcleaner og så ett par strøk med caliper lakk.

-Har du bilde av rusthulla?

-Eg spylte ramma mi godt med vann for en stund tilbake etter eg behandla den med avfetting førsr, og spraya godt inn med ferrobet ett par runder noen dager etterpå.

Blir sikkert spraya godt med fluidfilm til slutt.
