I ended up putting a Secure-It safe under the passenger seat. I've got it chained to the seat. It's not quick access, but it serves my purpose of having a more secure place to put my pistol when I can't take it with me (school, work, etc.)

I know that no safe is truly theft PROOF, but this lock box will slow a criminal down and require him to use a tool. Better than nothing.

I carry mine on my belt in the cross draw position, haven't really found a better place to put my G 23 yet.

I have Wetokole's with the driver's side gun tote. Perfect for my S&W 642 if and when I choose to pack it. When I park the truck, the gun goes in my pocket. (CCW is in the wallet).

There are a number of us here who have them and are very happy with them (group buy fiasco notwithstanding). It is a very easy install, secure and provides nice peace of mind for the times when you can't take your 'valuables' with you and need to have them secured in your car.

Does anyone have one of these? Can you post a pic of the hole that shows access to the inverter?
Is the 3digit combination enough security? I like the keyless option so I don't have to look for keys, but 3 digits seems like it could be defeated easily.

Just ordered one, I'll post an update when I get it installed.

Installed in 5 minutes, most of that was finding a socket wrench that would work inside the space. Fits nicely. It doesn't look stock because there isn't black metal anywhere else in the console, but it looks professionally made and installed. Fit and finish are excellent.

A couple of nits:

- You lose use of the plastic separator to keep things in the front section of the console.

- I think you lose use of the quarter (as in $0.25) storage. You can store them, but I'm not able to get them out with the console vault in place. But, I haven't tried very hard.

Sig P238 Concealment

My Sig P238 fits nicely in the tissue/CD holder on the bottom side of the console lid. I have a small neoprene holster that protects it.
