soo i vote we swap trucks, mine is red too, you wouldnt even know :D

Awesome truck man, thats the look i want eventually. How much was that rear bumper?

Looks good dude, jsut need to black out that grille then ur good. Ya ive been wanting a rear bumper and was gonna ask how much but mauzer beat me to it...

So how do u like those trail grapplers? ive been thinking bout changing my rims to some 17s and picking up a set but not sure if i want those or Toyo MTs. Wat would u suggest since i noticed uve had both?

Looks nice, hopefully the offroading wont take its toll on the body...
Thanks, the new armor will help prevent any body damage I hope.

Nice lookin rig!!:thumb3:
Thanks!

Thank you, I meant to get the grill done but Les schwab had the 4runner all of Saturday, it should be done before new years. Trail Grapplers far exceeded my expectations, and are surprisingly lighter than the Toyos. I would recommend them to anyone.

i'm in love.. :wow2:
its truly amazing.
Thanks!
4unit you have a one really cool looking rig, hey where's your playground?
is that carnegie SVRA.
No, carnegie is a lot smaller, that park is Prairie City SVRA located near Sacramento. You should come with me next time!

Yeah, baby. This is the build thread I've been waiting for! 4runit, you have a truly sweet rig.

I'm envious of your garage as well. :thumb3: You mentioned your dad spends most of his time there....what else gets worked on besides the 4Runner?

Thanks man I'm happy with the product too. In the garage, we work on the occasional house projects, backyard stuff, and usually the 2005 S2000. :driving:

Great looking rig man! Really like all the little details you put into it!:thumb3:

Thanks man, I pm'd you back btw.

Looks great man. Very detail oriented I can tell. Those pics with the fresh wash in the driveway.. dang that thing is clean. The red and black go so well together.

Awesome looking 4R! Love that rear bumper, looks so nice paired with the SW front bumper. I might have to look into getting one of those soon...

Man, that is a sick rig. Great thread too. Love seeing the photos from beginning to it's current state. I won't say beginning to end because it's never ending!

Might be doing a climbing trip to Tahoe next summer. If I do, we should hook up in the mountains and do some trail runnin'.

Oh and any more pics of the white 1st gen?

Thank you, you should definitely invest in some bumpers, feel like I'm driving a new car haha.
Great Job on your Runner Build Bro!!

One Of the Colours I wanted to go with when I was looking for mine!!
Thank you, I originally wanted a black 4runner, but I have grown to love sunfire red :driving:

Really badass man, love the TRD in the grill.
Thank you, it was a nice mod but I'm getting kinda tired of it. Thinkin' about trading it for a 01+ grill and painting it flat black, still not sure though.

Thanks I really like the look of your rig too. Never ending is right, there is too much stuff I wanna do to the rig but that's what makes it fun! I'd be glad to join you on a trip to Tahoe, or even a trip somewhere else. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the 1st gen, that was just a group I saw when I went to prairie city.

Hey how much did it cost to paint your sport hood?
I can't give you a direct price on the price of the hood since my dad has connections at a local body shop who installed/painted the hood and fixed the rear body damage I had for $250.

Sick ride bro..... I got some brand new fiberglass fenders for sale that would look sick on that thing!! They are Glassworks Unlimited ones.

Awesome 4Runner - are you running the wheel spacers to get the stance you wanted or are they needed for clearance with the 295's and those wheels?

Thanks man but I don't really like the look of the glassworks fenders on 3rd gens, they look great on your ride tho. I read a thread on your rig about it getting in an accident cause the guy who worked on your truck didn't tighten the lug nuts or something? What was the outcome? your rig is amazing btw.

The spacers gave the rig a nice stance but I needed them to clear the UCAs since they are such large tires.
