Same for the config options - but if you go under the different models you will see entune IS available in the SR5, it is just an 'option/package'.

Entune and retractable running boards. Same otherwise.

I'm interested in seeing if the display audio headunit is plug and play for older models. I used it when test driving a Prius v last week and it is slick.
 
I must confess, I'd be interested in those running boards if they fit on my '11. I haven't found a running board or nerf bar that I like right now, so I've gone without for the last year. But, there are times when a step would be nice....especially now as I'm in a leg cast! Besides, my girlfriend is short and would appreciate the step.

I'm sure it will be expensive, if it even works on the '11.

Any ideas how those usually hook up to the power / controls? Is this going to be another issue with the main wiring harness that is different from model to model?

One of the options is an 1800 rear seat entertainment system. It looks to be 2 independent dvd players strapped to the backs of the headrest. Looks like I can skip that option, heh. I'd rather do my own and make it look good. I have grown rather fond of the dual zone feature on my current headunit. It allows me to pipe xm up front and Elmo songs in the back for my daughter - VERY handy.

I know for other vehicles that as soon as the door handle is pulled (inside/outside) they immediately deploy for action! So you would be talking about sensors/wires/harnesses and maybe some kind of computer update?

This has been on there for 10' (late), 11', & now 12'. It is a joke. Others on here have gone the professional way and have them installed in the back of head rests. Seems there was a popular run for a bit with them, but have not seen anyone do it in a while here.
 
I was trying to figure out- so how much extra are they charging for the Entune and the running boards? Anyone know the value?

That's a good question. They are hiding these in "packages" at least here in Colorado so who knows?

On the plus side the configurator now shows all three trim levels instead of just the SR-5 like yesterday.

On the trails you cannot get KDSS without the new Entune head unit with Navi and this subsequently raises the price of this package to $2745. I believe the '11s had KDSS separate for ~$1800 or so.

Does that mean front leather seats that fold down or is that 2nd row. It isn't 3rd row because that has a different code (TS).

no Salsa Red trail anymore?

In Virginia, the Salsa Red is not shown as an option on the configurator. Is it available elsewhere? How about KDSS
 
My biggest curiousity is if with the base stereo you can see it with sunglasses on and if it is any brighter with the lights on.
 
Someone needs to figure out how possible a display audio retrofit is. As far as I can tell from the TIS, it wouldn't be difficult... just expensive.
 
So if I read the features correctly for the Entune Nav system, you only get 8 speakers as opposed to the 15 speaker JBL system? Seems kind of odd.
 
Looks like I might have to go to the USA to get mine. The Cdn TE's don't come with NAV, but at least they come with an added value feature of an extra 8k on the price tag!

Entune/nav/display audio is basically replacing the old mid-range audio system. You can still get the premium, 15 speaker Nav setup on the Limited.
