Won't you get pulled over? I mean if you already have 15% on the rears and you're going to get 5% on the fronts, you will get pulled over. I don't know cops cares that much about over tinting (not sure what's your legal tint in your state but I am pretty sure they can tell if you overtinted if they see front windows tinted more darker than the rears o.O
 
Alright time for me to chime in again.

You can replace the blinker indicators in your gauge cluster above the steering wheel. I ordered blue #74 bulbs from VLEDs and when I flick on my blinkers it blinks in blue. Just go to the VLEDs website and order whatever color #74 you would like.

For the Neo-Wedge bulbs, go to SuperBrightLEDs and order the 3mm Type A bulbs. These will replace the A/C switch, the rear defroster/ECT switch, and the rear window switch.

For the Oznium dome light, order the flexible 2"x2" and it will fit for the middle dome light in between the front and rear seats.

Tinting is all going to be a matter of preference I think. From what most people have said 20% on the fronts is probably your best bet. That's what I'm going to get this summer when I'm home and done with all my school work I have these next few weeks.

I'll save you the trouble:

One #194 bulb for the shifter.
Two #74 bulbs for the blinkers.
Two #74 bulbs for the climate control.
Three 3mm Neo-Wedge Type A bulbs for the rear defroster/ECT, rear window, and A/C switches.
Three #24 bulbs for the speedometer/tachometer gauge cluster.
One #74 for the key ring.
One #74 for the glove box light.

So in total: Six (6) #74 bulbs. One (1) #194 bulb. Three (3) #24 bulbs. Three (3) 3mm Neo-Wedge Type A bulbs.

Sickkk, that and I will need to order some dome lights too :P. Do you have any pictures of your LEDs during nighttime? If so, please show so I can envision my truck filled in blue lights :D
 
Get some white LEDs for your license plate. That is probably my second favorite mod.

David, I changed my blinkers to white and it still flashes green. :\ Guess some years are different.

I'm going for the white LEDs, I was going to go with blue but then I realized that it'd disrupt the cop's view of the plates :p.

Yeah. My rule of thumb is no crazy colors for exterior lights. Attracts too much attention.

I like your rule, I don't want to attract attention because I'm already tinting my windows past the legal limit and it'd suck to give the cops another reason to pull me over. :(

I'll try to take some pics of my interior later. Only problem is the only camera I have is the crappy one on my Blackberry so it wont' be the best quality.

So stoked for my hid!!!!! It arrived in Ohio, should be here tomorrow or Friday :D


EDIT: OH MY GOD, I JUST CHECKED MY STATUS ON DHL AND IT SAID IT'S DELIEVERED. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO HOME AND INSTALL IT!!! :D:D::D:DD

Just got home and opened the package. My god, I'm totally confused on this stuff. D: I'll let you guys know if I need help.
 
Lol. I only know a few basic things about HID wiring...but I'll give it a shot.

They are connected to the battery right? They have a ground? The ballasts are connected?

By ground you mean on the sides? Everything is setup correctly. I just took my truck to my guy who's wife works for my dad and he says everything looks good. I just need to come in again on Friday or monday to give him more time to check it out. But he did the light check and everything lights up except 1 on the right side. I'm just really depressed right now and I don't know what to do. I'm a frequent driver, especially during nighttimes. I don't have a secondary car and I'm not going to ask my mom, friends to give me a ride anywhere.
