4RUNNER Front Lower Center Dash Console Cubby

Will a 2014-2019 Front Lower Center Dash Console Cubby fit my 2010 SR-5? I prefer the features on the newer cubby and would like to replace it with the newer one.

it might fit. but the cubby in the 2010 has an AUX plug so I don't know if it will work. I'm not sure if the 2014 have a USB or AUX plug. the connector might not fit

I believe the 2014 cubby panel comes with a combination USB and Aux outlet on the left and DC power outlet on the right. The upper cubby shape is different as well and the Stubby Smash Phone mount works with this design.
Thanks, I'll make the investment and let you know if it fits.

Those cubbys in front of gear selector are able to be fitted with small drawers. I got mine thru ebay that fits well. Both small upper and larger lower openings have drawers available.
I chose lower drawer face to attach a GMRS radio faceplate to. My removable radio transceiver will ride on a base under passenger seat with magnet mount antenna on roof above passenger 2nd row door.

I let my technican class FCC license expire-life happens - no more ham. So I found a 50 watt GMRS that may have the range to communicate with all local family member's homes. Also easier for family to use and the FCC license seems to include my family members. Hooking it up is on my To Do list.

in Canada anyone that really wants to use radio needs to get a ham license. GMRS is limited to 2 watts in Canada. my tiny baofeng handheld is 5 watts ham. I have a marine radio license for boating and ham for land. unfortunately again for Canada ham and marine frequency are different , you can't transmit on marine frequency with standard ham, but you can listen. so you end up having to buy two expensive radios

I had an icom in the 4runner but have since uninstalled it. I was able to pickup a bunch of nets throughout USA as well.

100% Yes- I have done it in my 2011 TE

The part comes without the aux plug or the cig lighter. You'll have to remove them from the old one and install on the new one.
