Is it OK to use the Power Ant wire (blue) from a HU to power other things like a SWIX steering wheel controller, the antenna amp, or an antenna signal booster? Or is it robbing power from the deck. Thanks Steve

No, the antenna wire sourced from your head unit is not designed to be a power source. It may not even have enough current to power a relay (that really depends on the head unit). If you over drive it you may damage your head unit.
Search google. I'm sure you can find many examples of the right way to hook up your external devices triggered by the antenna wire. Most of them will likely involve switching power directly from the battery through a relay. The safest solution would be to use a transistor to switch the relay and the relay to switch the power to your devices.
