I mis-remembered the challenge. I thought it was "at a grassland", I didn't really catch the part about "middle" of the grassland until now.
Acceptable or not? Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge grasslands...

My wife says my pics are at least average size!
Next up... your machine with a high school, college, professional team sign that is a representative of a person or group of people, not an animal or a thing. For example, a sign saying "Lexington Minutemen", "Eureka Loggers", "Cleveland Indians", etc.
Teams like Broncos, Panthers, etc would not work.

Below is the one I was going to post, but yours is better since it includes a 4Runner.
Wanted to see how the Jeep was on a longer trip, so we drove it to my wife's hometown in Kansas. It did OK, but the 4Runner is definitely nicer for a long drive. The picture is from yesterday in a field outside of Guide Rock, NE; just a few miles north of her hometown.
I'll try to meet the next challenge with the 4Runner.

I was going to go down across the river and take another picture like this one today. Neyland Stadium, Home of the Vols ==> Volunteers... named after a bunch of Tennesseans, like Davey Crockett and Sam Houston, who went down to Texas to try to save the Alamo. But now I don't need to. I really miss that 4Runner, though.

Man, six days, no taggers!!??
I was camping for 4 days and then was entertaining our camping buddies at the house the past 2 days.
Here's a pic from the trip (this is NF 20, west of Ashland Oregon). This, El Kabong, is the 4Runners actual natural environment. The beach might promote rust! Also please note a horizontal horizon, pleasing lighting, and no one rapidly exiting the driver's door to shit all over the shot. Plus I'm actually going to post a challenge picture in the picture challenge thread...
But... I digress:

Humboldt Bay FD Station 5. These guys saved our house in February 2019 when the attached garage caught fire in the wee hours of the morning. Smoke detectors never went off and only our dog going nucking futs alerted us. HBFD got there in minutes and knocked that shit down like bosses. House was unscathed. Garage was toast, but luckily the trucks had been parked outside. Thank you HBFD!

I drove by 4 fire stations over the past couple of days and did not see a flag. I thought that was requirement. Anyway, glad to have a new challenge.:thumb: If you consider Range Rovers as Land Rovers, I could knock this challenge out in 5 mins. Our parking garage is full of Evoques.

Not a great shot but it is an off-road capable Land Cruiser with my 4R mirror in the shot. Added more from this morning to make a better challenge completion.
Next challenge: Same but with a Mercedes G-wagon. Not the lame GL but the military-derived one... G-class or whatever it’s called.

I drove around the high-end part of town today looking for a Mercedes but couldn’t find a one. But a found four Land Rovers. Go figure.

Damn. I saw a guy going the other way on 101 earlier in a G Wagon. I genuinely thought about flipping a u'ee and chasing him down for a drive by photo... but traffic was heavy and that'd be full creeper. He had out of state tags so not likely I'll see him again. The hunt continues...
