4Runner photo game

What the hell are you talking about?! I thought it was to just have someone take a picture of you driving by!

And I did that --- with a stationary GoPro I took the best shots showing some dust....kind of....so you can almost tell I'm moving

And this one just looked cool :becky:

EDIT: And for the record, I DID clean the case lens cover. Maybe I need to clean the camera actually...

Yes that's more along the lines of what I was thinking. Something like FactoryRide posted would have been sweet but I'd call this the winner.

To accomplish a shots like this I think you just need to select a slow enough shutter speed to blur the background to your liking and keep it steady and focused on the car while snapping. Easier said then done, I know!

If you go "free hand", you basically would need to drive right next to it in a second car and keep it steady (pretty much the same thing the rig is doing).

Ride in a car next to the vehicle you want to photograph. Take photo.

Unless you have a handy dandy remote control for a camera you keep on the side of the road to capture the vehicle while it passed by...

yeah if both vehicles are moving at the same velocity then the one being photographed would appear still while the background is blurred. physics.

I could try to get one of my buddies to take a shot while they are in a chase vehicle, but I doubt we have half the skill to make it look like those photos. And they don't have a 4Runner to hang out the back window to take a photo either
