Sounds like the signs vary by states.

I haven't seen any in WA, but I don't frequent the roads that might have one.

When are they putting the "unmaintained road" sign on I-5 :wow:

Well, any equivalent sign counts, I know they are called class 3 or 4 roads in some states, and class b or c in some, anything that gets at the same point works.

Cool! I wore a Barcelona Messi jersey all day, and my Spain jersey is Neymar. Suarez I have a harder time liking, because of his propensity for biting people.

I think it is 4Runner next to hog, though that has probably expired. Here is my Miata next to a hog, and here is even my Rubicon next to same hog on Google maps. But I can't get to my 4Runner next to a hog 'cause I'm in Wisconsin and my 4Runner is at the airport in TN. The only reason I'm not playing is my 4Runner is setting at the airport every week as I travel. Maybe I will start an airport parking garage build thread.:banana: Can we just do a new "wild card" random challenge... first one to throw something achievable on here?

Yep, that is exactly what it is. They are typically in very rural, middle of nowhere roads. In Kansas this is the explanation for them (Missouri is similar):

A "minimum maintenance" road is a road that receives little or no routine maintenance and has been officially designated as such by the Board of County Commissioners. Kansas law (K.S.A. 68-5,102) allows for certain roads to be designated as "minimum maintenance" for various reasons. Generally, roads that have been so designated have very low traffic volumes and the local township with maintenance jurisdiction has determined other roads with higher traffic volumes deserve more attention and resources.

Designating a road as "minimum maintenance" reduces the tort liability associated with failure to maintain a roadway to normal standards.

Maybe there is no similar law like that in Massachusetts?

I doubt there are any laws like that in the North East. I've never seen them in NY, CT, MA or NJ.
