They used the land cruiser and taco for the us and Canada trips they made. They got the two TEPs and built them with stage 7 kits from icon and hideaway winches because they were driving through Mexico and South America. The hideaway was for their own safety, not for looks.

Yes, but the hybrid is a more efficient low profile bumper and wasn't available then. In fact I think only Schrockworks was available then for the 2nd gen of the 5th gen! There's really no better reason to use the CBI behind the bumper that I can think of.
Plus the logic of "low profile" traveling, hence no full bumper, is lame given the graphics package those things were rocking. That called way more attention than a bumper would.

The last "qualified" challenge was issued by [MENTION=112003]jonesmw10[/MENTION] on 8/3 and no one fulfilled that one. Therefore, we go back to the default/reset challenge of a fresh pic of your 4Runner next to a local landmark with your new challenge included in the post. I'm about 2500 miles away from my 4Runner so I can't compete until I get back home.

Not sure if this counts due me being at a stop light across the street, but the The Cavalier is a historical hotel on the oceanfront of Virginia Beach. Also rumored to be haunted. [emoji317] [emoji102]

I'm not sure I get the reset? So there is a certain amount of time to accomplish the challenge? If not done in that amount of time it goes back to the previous challenge?

I believe if current challenge has not been fulfilled in 72hours it reverts back to the original challenge that started this crazy thread we love[emoji1598]

We had to do the reset because challenges would expire after the 72 hours. Originally it would revert to the previous challenge. Then that would also expire and we would all get lost as to which previous challenge was in play. So to simplify, we said if the last challenge is not fulfilled in 3 days then anyone can go out and take a pic with a local landmark (qualified) then issue a new challenge with that posting. [MENTION=66744]andy2008[/MENTION] stated it correctly in the previous post. So go take a landmark pic so we can continue!

I was merely explaining the reason for the reset rule and time expiration due to Trail Wonka's question. Unfortunately, I did not see that there was a new challenge from [MENTION=138048]01100101[/MENTION] as I typed the last sentence. My mistake, but I think clarifying the rules when asked is making the game easier, not harder. :cheers:

Yeah you're cool Mark. There's only a few of us consistently playing and you are one of them, so no worries.
What I meant was, and refer to my post just above yours also; it apparently is difficult for some people to understand the rules of the game. All 3 of them.
