Ok, new challenge! It's the weekend, how about in front of a yard sale or a garage sale? Need to see the sign in the yard, or a bunch of stuff in the yard or driveway.

Darn old duck, I'm too late! Oh well, this would have been my entry:
Mark Hamill Drive. Hamill does voice work on many cartoons and is highly regarded as the voice of the Joker
in the Batman series. (In addition to being in some obscure little movie called "Star Wars.")

This thread is one of my new favorites! This is going to be a lot of fun. I found this one through the humbolt/lost coast thread. Hopefully I can be a repeated winner, I just luckily found this thread when there was a challenge I could accomplish.

I hope this works. It's Sunday and most of the yard sales are Fri-Sat events. This place is packed on Saturday's but Sunday it was slow. However, here are a few people trying to sell a bunch of stuff in a yard. It is amazing to me what people try to sell. Most of the stuff I saw I would pay someone to haul off. :shrug: I also captured the sign per the challenge. This location is actually a working drive-in, though it is seasonal. They do flea markets, car shows, etc. to fill in the time throughout the year.
Next challenge: Your 4Runner at an old drive-in movie theater. It can be operational, an old leftover relic, or whatever you can find that comes close.

Here’s my attempt at meeting the challenge. Strong thunderstorms during my beer run today. Couldn’t get a good pic due to drops on windshield between wipes. Either leftovers from the last hurricane or leading edges of the new one heading toward North Carolina.
Next challenge: [MENTION=90352]UnderFire[/MENTION], your 4Runner behind the shop covered on blackberry vines. Edit: For anyone else, your 4Runner with some sort of foliage draped on it.

I was actually going to go today and drive the nose of my truck under a bunch of blackberry brambles that are in a vacant lot not too far from the house, just to snipe it from Under Fire. I'm glad I didn't though so that he could play with his non-running truck! I'm leaving for Seattle in a bit, maybe I'll grab a picture of the ocean from the two-lane portions of 101 on the way up if the sun's high enough.

I drove to Seattle and back yesterday, 1100 miles, 20.5 hrs straight. Some epic 2 lane but it was all in the dark, the daylight stuff was all I-5, so I missed out on the previous challenge. But, I grabbed this on the way home:

I know of a couple places near by that I might be able to get today. Need to run to the dollar store to get a few extras for my camping trip this weekend.

Here it is in front of a store called Five below. I always thought they sold winter apparel. Turns out they are more like a dollar store, everything is $5 or less.
Since the weekend is coming up:
Next Challenge: Your 4runner on dirt with no man made structures in the background.
