It's been three days... and I have the day off tomorrow. New challenge?

You can look for something covered in moss and complete the current challenge, albeit late. I would've got this one but my 4Runner has been at the airport for the past few days. Or you can accept the challenge to get your 4Runner with a local landmark and issue a new challenge for the rest of us.:thumb:

There is not an ample supply of moss near me. Who knows, maybe I will find a little moss, maybe enough for a technical completion. I expected that someone from Washington would have posted an amazingly mossy picture by now. What is this local landmark you speak of, is that part of a resetting process?

Yes it is part of the resetting. If after 3 days nobody meets the challenge, a new one is issued.

So take a picture of your 4Runner in front of a local landmark and post that.

Here are some moss-covered objects. Next challenge: Your 4Runner with a patch or field of fall wildflowers. For example, we have fields of wild sunflowers, cone flowers, etc blooming all over the place. Make it artsy if possible.

Yeah, a minor technicality. Mostly massive quantities of cultivated roses. But here’s the California Wild Rose, common around here in coastal California and Oregon. Note the nasty curved thorns.

How about at the dealership in Knoxville? This one was easy. I live in Sevierville and had to drive thru Maryville to get to Knoxville. And on the interstate the signs say Nashville, etc.

These speed limit signs are on narrow twisty Quito Road in Los Gatos CA. The town elders thought motorists would really notice the unusual signs and slow down. I’ve always thought they were funny, but ridiculous.

This is the best I could do to try to keep the thread moving. I drove past this house in our neighborhood that was ridiculously decorated for Halloween. I know people do this a lot now, but I'm not an exterior decorator. So I find it ridiculous to do that much for a 1-day holiday. Not judging... just I wouldn't do it. I get Christmas because it's also a "season" with the shopping, parties and family stuff going on through most of December. But I don't really outside decorate for that either.

I havent found anything either. Worth asking. I took the picture one day before challenge was issued. Some one please get the challenge or reset so we can get a new challenge.
