Too late. I got a three-fer in Sunnyvale CA. I must have landed in the bird-themed development.

I did the Google earlier today... so I was ready. But I also like to passively manage this thread by saying I'm going to do something so someone else feels pressured to do so. It worked, but don't tell [MENTION=200736]ElectroBoy[/MENTION].

So I went after the cigarette sign challenge, but there were only a couple of options nearby. I live on Blount Avenue, but it isn't spelled quite right for another kind of cigarette. Therefore, I chose the Salem option. Maybe ironic that there is also a DEAD END sign under the cigarette sign. Also a candy sign in the same pic! I know this is a lame attempt, but this area was very sketchy and I wasn't sure how the dudes hanging out in the driveway would react if I got out and started snapping pics of their neighborhood. To keep the game flowing, I claim the challenge and will issue anew.

Next challenge: Your 4Runner/significant other truck with a flag flying at half staff in honor of fallen veterans/Memorial Day.

Don't forget the current flag challenge. I'm not sure how long they will be that way... normally, they are back up by noon on Memorial Day. This year they added additional time for COVID. All the flags I see across the river are still at half mast.

Ummmm...
This is way before your time. The cartoonist (Marjorie Henderson Buell, pen name Marge) who did the “Little Lulu” comic series in the 1930s-40s had a character named “Tubby” who eventually was spun off into his own comic series.
This is one of the covers...
