M m85476585 New member Feb 3, 2015 #4 No, I didn't take the pictures. It does look like Loveland pass. Maybe they tried to park on the snow bank and it collapsed under them? I don't really see tracks that look like they drove there.

0 02SE Senior Member Feb 3, 2015 #7 It looks to me like it was probably an icy road, too much speed for the conditions, and the rear-end came around in oversteer, and off the road they went backwards. I'd call them very lucky.
