I work every other weekend, so I kinda need to plan ahead..

We usually set the date in late summer for the fall (late October), after the Cove sets up their date for the Jeep event that happens there (we have our event the weekend they do not have their event). [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] usually contacts the Cove to get it set up. Keep an eye out here for the Cove #6. They let us use the trails and I believe last year, the guys got all the trails mapped. Anyway, it's a good time, talking about 4Runners and camping, cooking and all that entails.

let's fast forward...March 2015...the 25th anniversary of the rallye..
shipped the FJ to Brussells where my teammate (she is Suisse) picked it up...
we left Switzerland on our way to Nice, around Lake Geneva, thru northern Italy...we started the rallye in Nice, France...

here is a pic of us in Nice...for tech inspection

Don't quote me but I believe that is TheXelles behind you. The ExpeditionOverland's Wife Crew. I remember seeing the vehicle in one of the seasons they did a while back. Great pictures by the way, looks like a lot of fun.

Yep Rachelle Croft and Rhonda Cahill ....the rallye is an extreme test physically and mentally...9 days in the desert...50 yr old maps and a compass...no GPS or cell phones...3hrs of sleep, up at 4am...in your truck for 10-12 hrs....yada yada yada

got an email this morning....it finally feels like I'm starting this process..
ordered the full set of skids including the gas tank (not pictured)...
also waiting on the front bumper which comes with the bumper skid

So far today...pulled the top piece off to get access to the ac outlet. Next I will dremel 2 holes for access of the new AC and USB....
