4Running Daily's Build Thread

After an hour of work, you can barely notice the damage:

Now, I'm a little bored with my Evergreen Pearl, and want to switch things up for a little bit. So I think I'm going to Vinyl Wrap it. But I want it to be out there. So I can find it in a parking lot instantly and just be something hilariously fun and awesome. Something different.

So I ordered 2 samples, and I'm going to order a couple more.

What do you think?

That's the plan.

What brand of wrap you going to get? You have an idea of how much the material is going to cost? I just started thinking about wrapping mine because I'm wanting a change.

Of the two colors you posted, I like the yellow but I don't think I would like it with the gold rims.

3M seems to be the brand to get. No idea on material price. Somewhere in the $500-$750 range. I like the yellow more then the orange too. I'd change the rims to black.

Here's a link to colors: http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawebserver?mwsId=PPPPPr6wH0cpiuqRl7xsi7qbbs6nb06wEsQPbsQPbPPPPPP--

and here's where I ordered samples:

I like the yellow or a yellow at least for a minute. I can never make up my mind. Real nice bulldog by the way. I wonder what the wraps resistance to scratching is? My paint job will likely be toast at the end of the year and this could be a viable option when the time comes.

I just think your paint color is pretty nice and I'm kind of concerned about what happens when you want to remove the wrap.

I know what you mean. I too had that exact same thought. Whether the paint would come off with the wrap. I did multiple test spots and ended up being fine. But it is definitely something to consider

There is always the Plastidip option though it works best if you want flat colors. Dipyourcar sells different colors.

Thanks nihkon for making me buy CBI OffRoad Fab ditch lights.

Bought the Ditch Mounts and Rigid Dually's.
