That is cheap Connor, at least for East Coast prices. I'd be tempted to fly out to CA/AZ for a truck and drive it back to North Carolina.

Hobart Handler 190 purchased. Time to weld some shit.

Test drove this today. Once I graduate, this will replace the F150.
It's a 4x4, Diesel, Manual. Ridiculously fun to drive

You know just welding a Toyota emblem on that Dodge won't actually make it a Toyo. lol

And yes, full size diesel manuals are super fun to drive. There even more fun when you chip them and let the engine loose. My buddies got a Ford F250 with the 6.4L Powerstroke. It's chipped and sitting on 35's. He can spin the tires through 3rd gear.

With kids eating tide pods now a days, I had to step up my laundry game. This Hobart 190 eliminates any stains or dirt with ease, practically burning through them. For best results, wear product needed to be cleaned and weld flux core and sheet metal

My Hobart 140 has always had trouble with grass stains... maybe I need to upgrade.

On another note, I have been noticing lately that my tires seem a bit small. I wasn't sure why, but I just realized it's because I'm spending too much time reading your thread. The 4Runner looks mean sitting low with the huge rubber. Nice job on the re-tub, and good show actually wheeling the new setup... "Up and Over" looks like it would punish a belly skid.

Hung out in Flag for the past 3 days and with the 4Runner still kind of a mess, I took the F150. I have to say, these Falken A/T's are amazing. Way more grip than I thought possible from an all terrain. Had them in sand, rock, and then snow and they did amazing. I'm definitely buying these for my new truck too.

Went to fix the rear bumper today and found this surprise. Panhard lift sheared right out. I'll make a stronger one tomorrow I guess.

So as I've posted before, I sheared the weld on my rear bumper a couple weeks back from washboard roads and 110# spare hanging on it.

Next couple projects:
-Dirtco sent me an OEM CV, so I plan on installing that when I weld limit straps on. Hopefully that helps.
-Panhard Lift again
-Alignment
-Wheel fire roads from now on

The only idea I have right now is to cut the frame rails as far back as I can, and then plate 2 frame horns that will most likely be welded on. It will be hybrid-isa. I'll probably wait until the SAS because I'll be doing a new front frame section all together along with a winch.

Nah, I'm sure it was my fault running 110# spare tire and abusing it. I'll add gussets and weld the cracks, call it a day.

I see you got some snow running (err Ford-n) in there, Flagstaff mountain area I presume. Looks like good times. Love the breakfast spot MartAnne's in Flagstaff. If you have never been I can't recommend it enough.

Just curious and sorry if you already answered this somewhere else in the thread but are you staying in Arizona once you graduate? I assume it will depend on the work situation. The cost of living in San Diego has continued to climb - a lot on the housing side. Maybe the coming collapse (side topic) will provide some relief.

I was actually looking for a breakfast place the last time I was there! I'll have to try it out.

I am staying in AZ for one more year to finish my masters. But after that, who knows where I'll end up. Utah, Colorado, and Washington are on my list.
