I had to hammer a brace on the hood for it to clear the cap on the Taco rad. Kept unscrewing it like yours.

Don't hammer your hood, just drop the rad down 1/2" or so. Just gotta drill new holes in your core support when you mount it. That's what I did.

My hood is a piece of trash anyways.... hail dents, bird crap ate through the clear coat from previous owner, paint doesn't match, dent from a tree branch falling on it :bolt:

New bumper is awesome! I like how tight it is and the approach angle it provides.

Super jealous of the hydro bumps for the front. I've wanted to do that for so long, they're just expensive!

I just checked my hood and noticed that it is hitting! Thank you! I'll have to try that.

Hopefully LT and bumps go on at the same time. It was a craigslist deal, $200 for the set hahahaha

So tell us a bit about this LT kit you’re going to fab. Same version you’re making for the race truck? Uniball conversion instead of LBJ? Adjustable heimed uppers or bushings? Boxed or tubed upper arms?

Boxed lower with horizontal uniball welded to arm. Adapter plate in place of LBJ that then gets gussets and welded to the spindle. (No 4-bolt failure possible). Adjustable, tube (1.5" .120 wall), heimed uppers.

I found my rad cap loose after a wheeling trip and my new sport hood had some scratched so I just hammered out enough to clear the cap on the hood

Overheating issues were caused by a blocked/collapsed cat converter. Luckily I work for an exhaust company, so this was an easy fix. Exhaust redo to come.

Also I'm going long travel soon

Love it! Almost at 7,500 miles so far. Can't stop driving it. Definitely miss the F150. Miss having a bed that big. My roommate has a 2nd gen Tacoma that I can borrow whenever, but it isn't the same. Definitely see some kind of diesel pick up in my future. Probably after the GTI is paid off.

You should have bought the Dodge back in January despite it’s $38k price tag. If I didn’t have the GF socked by the flu then I might have gotten on a plane and bought it myself.

Still wish Toyo would reconsider putting in a Hino engine in a Tundra.....
