Most cars have this feature….but just in case some are not aware.
After setting the cruz, if you hit the brakes it disengages the cruz. You don’t have mess around to “set” the cruz to get back to the same speed. You only need to push up on the cruz lever. (I think it is referred to reset) The vehicle will accelerate back to the original speed you set. (this does not work if you turn off the cruz)
For someone like me this is a nice feature. I push my speed up to the maximum level possible just under “get a ticket speed.” In a 70 MPH zone, I set my cruz precisely at 79 MPH. Most odometers overstate the speed, so I am likely going about 76 or 77.
I hate it when someone cuts me off and I need to brake. BUT, this feature makes it more bearable as the vehicle gets back to the desired speed without me thinking about it.
