Awesome write up. Wish I would have seen it a few days ago. I was tempted to buy a steel or aluminum bumper during black Friday and cyber Monday. I couldn't decide in time because there are so many options and looks. I didn't want anything heavy so maybe the DO would have been the best choice. And I didn't like the three hoops and was going with the single hoop. But after seeing all those pictures I might be changing my mind for the future.

Didn't want to brag (or get asked to build one for somebody).
I think I have a custom section under front bumpers where I've been meaning to add something.
EDIT: actually I already have 20 pics. Might have to figure something else out or throw in a link.

Oh you'll get asked but maybe one of those companies will buy YOUR design ? What I like about your's is not to busy some of them are just TOO much damn ! Minimalist is what I like , still looking for a roll bar type or more nerf bar style !

C4 Front Bumper
If C4 ever gets around to making this bumper for the 06-09 models, I will buy it up in a heart beat! I reached out to them in '16 and asked if they had plans to design it and they said they needed a volunteer vehicle to get it done, too bad I'm on the east coast or I would have jumped on this long ago.
It might be a bit costly, but the fact that it's so understated is the best part IMO. I REALLY REALLY want this thing!!!!!!

They don't have a 4runner option but I emailed them and filled out the request form. They responded that if there was enough interest they would try to make one. Looks like it would be another good weld together option.
