4th Gen Baja inspired build

I have a bad habit of getting tired of a build and selling to start another but this one is really unique to me and I believe I want to keep it till the end of time lol.

I'm in the same boat. I've had/ built a lot of cars and can't get over how impressed I am with my 4R (despite the horrible 4.7 gas mileage lol) and I'm pretty sure I'll drive it into the ground.

Keep up the good work.

Haha Thanks Chewbacca I appreciate it !
swapmeet, I hear you! I'm thinking when the motor and or tranny goes, either rebuild or drop a new one and enjoy for another who knows how long!

@ LTDSC, he did very nice work for the short deadline, he said he needed a few more days to perfect it... slight gaps at the bumper skin area might need a little detail and I may need to find a little better rubber gasket than the tiny ones that came with the flares but all is good as I needed it back today and overall I am a happy camper! Here's a pic!

This looks awesome! Did you have them tub out the existing flares/fenders underneath or just put the new ones over top the old? I'd assume for the rubber gasket you could just run a bead of silicon along the inside edge or even the outside if you have a steady hand. I believe that's how they seal the flares on most of the Liberty Walk cars.

Thank you, much appreciated ! rsingh0405

wkeryder4. Over the old to have a mounting point. I wanted them to be removable. If I can't find a good gasket however I might just consider the silicone. Thanks!

LTDSC. That's exactly what my glass guy said, to try the OEM gaskets as they are shaped differently and thicker. If I can't find an aftermarket similar I will order me some to try! Haha Ya I guess it never ends. Just when I think Im getting closer to being done spending money on it, something else pops up haha!

t-man. thank you! I am pretty excited haha. #Man toys

Has anybody seen these before? They're on Ebay.

2004-2009 Toyota 4Runner Duraflex Off Road 4.5 Inch Bulge Front Fenders Body Kit

After shipping it came out to $421... Grrr lol

I think I paid $450 for my fiberwerx, so really about the same price. Got them at my door 2 days later though, which probably wouldnt happen with that company. I think I tried ordering sideskirts for one of my old acuras, and they basically just didnt ship them. Ended up cancelling the order after like 2 weeks.

all that work and money on an island truck...that baby is screaming to come to mexico and be set free!!!

Haha it is on the barge to Long Beach as we speak, driving into Nevada in a few weeks! We're moving to Vegas, will get to play in the desert soon!
