sweet, right on man! just a word of caution...just because you have the equipment doesnt mean you are the "ironman". growing up in an area with glamis (dunes in socal) goers, i heard all kinds of stories of people being killed doing stupid things in their first time out. one was a dude that killed himself and his wife their very first outing and left his single digit kids without parents. sandrail split in half after he "went big", parents were killed, kids in the back of the sandrail survived.

have fun!!

sidenote, what does it cost to ship a car over to LB?

no it only has one pump. I never ever use the rear, even on previous vehicles that had rear nozzles so a second pump didn't matter to me.

The GF's 07 FJ cruiser's Reservoir is in the same area, at first I thought about using a FJ reservoir but after some measuring, it was a little too big to fit. The one I found only holds a little less than 2 quarts of fluid but that lasts me way long enough and anything bigger would've been a little more of a pain to mount solid and as clean as I would like..... like I was able to mount this one. I was ecstatic to find this kit.

Do you happen to have a link or some direction where I can find that reservoir? I would like to update my passenger side resi since it rubs the tire.

Also, would you mind taking a picture of your driver side mount for the resi? It's hard to get mine to sit right without rubbing the hose or the body or tire.

Fenders look great btw!!!

yosh2000. Thanks for the words of caution, I appreciate the heads up. Yes I am very conservative, had close calls myself back in the day and heard many stories like that as well. I was fortunate to be able to drive a Class 10 Baja car around a lot of the Baja 1000 trails and even then was carerul, had a friend who went off one of the cliffs and was so lucky that particular one was only around a 12 foot drop as there were many hundred feet ++ drops around those trails... I hear you and appreciate it, there are so many drivers that doesn't seem to think of consequences it's scary. It costed me $1050 to ship it to Long Beach. It would've been another $500 to Vegas but it's worth the drive to save $500 to me plus less hands means less chance of damage lol...

@ Brando. I couldn't find the exact link to the one I bought but it was very similar to this:

I don't have the Runner with me to take any pics unfortunately it will be a few weeks till we meet again however once you get that stock reservoir out you shouldn't have a problem. I did add a couple of washers to the resi mount to "kick" the coilover resi down a hair for some line clearance but other than that no clearance issues at all.
Thanks!

wnelax04sr5. That means a lot to me, thank you for the kind words.

momo75. Right on, thank you!

LTDSC. sounds like a plan! Haha you might have to tell me where the hot spots are!

I want this front bumper. Who do I need to contact to get it?

Only changes needed would be to relocate the wiper fluid and upgrade fenders?

Troymclure makes these. PM him.
You don't need to upgrade your fenders for this bumper, but it looks cooler!

Dont have to do either. I ran stock fenders and tube bumper for a long time, and just painted the wiper fluid reservoir black.

who did the rear fender glass for you? i need something like that done! if its a company do you know if they made a mold of yours or not?

Sorry so late on the reply, my email notification aren't working? And it's been a while since I signed on. They are from Burtman Industries but made for the 06 and up so if that's what you got it'll be a direct bolt on. However mine is an 05 so it had to be reworked.

A shop in Hi before I moved did the work. He did a great job for the time he had with it. It's not perfect in the rear of the flares and I actually meant to have it perfected later but it actually doesn't bother me anymore and I rather spent money elsewhere for now. The rears of the flares aren't totally flush all the way down but overall I was very happy as there wasn't many people that could do that kind of fiberglass work so I was lucky to find someone at the last minute.

i still desperately need rear fenders but i refuse to pay $700 for them lol DAMMIT.

Lol I hear ya! Not cheap plus to modify them to fit mine nicely costed another
pretty penny so definitely hurt the pocket but it was worth it.

Sorry about the late replies, yep Troymclure ! Nice work!

As mentioned he custom makes it to whatever width you want so you don't need to "upgrade" fenders but if you're thinking about it you may want have them made a bit wider so it will look good if you do unless if you went with say Fiberwerx which tapers in to match factory widths.

Also not absolute necessary to relocate the washer resi but it is very exposed if not. If that doesn't bother you than yep just spray paint it black to camouflage it a bit and be done with it.
