Yep, that's what I used. And if you have arms off and access to a press I'd say do the ball joints as well.

You can always do them later if you don't do them now though. I got a loaner ball joint press kit from advance auto and pressed them out with the arms still on the truck. (Basically a giant c clamp with different sized cups...use a 4' breaker bar and they slowly but surely press out). Darklight on toyota120 has a writeup on it. Otherwise I'd go the route havingfun recommends if you have access to a big press.

I have a theory that anything below about 25* feels the same, its just a matter of how quickly it gets through your layers of clothing. Also the lower the temprature below 25 there is an inverse amount of cussing when you're outside. I.E. "Gat damn it fock this weather omfg... BRRR!"

Its 31* in DFW this morning. I hate this weather.

I know this doesn't completely pertain to 4runners, but i gave my brother my stock wheels and 265/70 17 at3 tires to put on his grand wagoneer. We put about a 4" lift on it too. I think it looks great! So, if anyone ever wondered what a wagoneer would look like with 17" sport wheels, her you go!

All the weight is on the tires in that pic.

i used to be a Jeep person. I was told they were rust buckets, I was told they were unreliable, I was told this, I was told that. Thing is, they were right. My friend had a Wagoneer and the only thing holding the suspension was the floor, LMAO. I always thought they looks cool.

i had an 06 jeep unlimited. the last year of the i6 and was the extended jeep. I loved it except it rode like dog shit. Bump steer, super stiff. Otherwise was a fun ride, i miss it.

I honestly miss my 07 ZJ. That I-6 I knew was going to last forever, but the tranny was starting to take a sh&&, the rear (replaced 2x) was starting to make noise (tell tale sign it's starting to go) and the transfer cases that I knew was going to take a dump in 70,000 miles (transfer cases on the "QuadraTrac" equipped ZJs never last beyond 90,000 miles). All this, when my ZJ only had 120,000 miles. When my wife used it, she only got 13.8mpg on it (religiously) and from time to time I would take it on my long commute. I could never get better than 18mpg. The ZJ is a small vehicle. My (seemingly) 05 4R is a BARGE compared to it, yet had more (usable anyway) power and didn't drink as much gas. I can get 21-23 mpg on the highway. City,............. yeah, well, no.

I want to like Jeeps, but I've been punched in the face too many times to come back. I'm done with them. But, again, strangely, I miss it.

Ha! The bad thing is that my 4Runner has more rust than his Wagoneer has! Reliability is still questionable on it! I like the Waggy, but I wish Jeep/AMC would have put a little more thought in it and made it a more capable offroad.
