First, thanks to everybody on this forum. I've been a long time lurker, and I've learned a lot. I grease my own zerks thanks to this forum, do my own oil changes, and have been making lift decisions using the search feature.
I drive a 2004 SR5 V6 4X4 with 140,000 miles. Recently, the driver-side window/door has started whistling very annoyingly at speeds over 40 MPH. The noise was right by my head, directly in my ear. It was progressively getting worse, and was becoming quite irritating. I applied dressing to the window/door seals to no avail.
Next, I very methodically vacuumed around all the driver-side door/window seals. Very gently, I used my fingers to lift the seals and vacuumed underneath them. No more noise!!!
Just thought I'd pass that along.
