4th Gen Driver's side window question

I haven't seen any reports about this so I'll ask.

It's an '04. My window rolls down smooth using the auto down switch. However, it "jerks" or hesitates slightly when rolling up (again using the auto switch.) The hesitation isn't right at the start of the travel and isn't violent. It's just something I've noticed as different compared to it's previous completely smooth travel.

I've already put some silicone spray on the rubber seal but that hasn't done anything. Is there anything I can do or lubricate to remedy this? Would I have to remove the inside panel and how do I do this?

I think I have the same problem you do. It makes a clicking noise about 3/4 of the way up. It isn't a big deal, but feels like it is catching on something. No idea how to solve it, so this post is of little use.

I fixed my buddies 92 yukon with the power window motor and I know you don't have a motor problem but you can check the scissor spring to see if its outta line. that thing gave me lots of problems putting the window in. thats what I think is going on. good luck!

It's intermittent so I won't tear into the panel just yet.
