Ah, yes. You're 100% right about the LED low beams.

As far as trimming goes, there's a metal base on the bulb with three tabs on it. One of those tabs is too tall/wide for the 9006 base and needs to be trimmed down. I used toenail clippers at first, but those didn't quite cut it (no pun intended) so I switched to a set of pliers that had a built-in wire cutter and that cut through it great. Took maybe 5 mins per bulbs.

The bulbs also have adjustable bases so that you can get rid of/align their rotation so that they don't create visual hotspots.

What about wiring? Do they plug into the 9006 socket or do we need a 9112 pigtail?

They plug straight into the same socket. Only the bulb base needs to be modified

Hey, don't have one for sale, but I was actually going to buy a bumper off eBay from this store. They sell factory paint matched 4Runner bumpers for $190 shipped. I don't think you'll be able to beat that price with shipping, unless you're able to find one locally.

I did scratch one spacer a bit with a screwdriver to get it off the hub but still should work fine. (pic 3)
Also that same spacer has a little bit of rust at the end of one of its studs. (pic 4)
