^^I agree. Alternatively, measure the front and rear of the running boards, this will give you a good estimate. I'd say .85 also, mainly because a little forward rake looks better than a little reverse rake.

Since we have the same exact ride I'll post my experience. Mine has ~105K miles on it and I think my front springs were pretty cooked. I initially put FJ coils/shocks with a 1/2" Toytec spacer and didn't get anywhere near level. The FJ springs just didn't net that much lift, if any.
Round 2 was the Daystar 1" spacer and I put airbags in the rear. This is a lot better but I still think I should've done 5100's at the 2nd setting with no spacer. I may end up adding 5100's in the front at .85 eventually but I want to see how it looks with 255/70/18's Destination A/T's on it first. Taking apart the front is a lot easier now but still a pain to do more than once.
My measurements are all +/- 1/8". The driver side sag remains to my dismay.
It had a little more than 1/4 tank with no PSI in the bags

I don't know what your measurements are front to rear and it's probably to late for you to grab some FJ springs but my observations are.
1. .85 setting on 5100's with stock springs will probably not get you close to level. I think you'll still be 2"+ rake.
2. The ride with FJ coils/shocks is a huge improvement (Non XREAS). If you can find a set it's worth it.
Your pic is a little deceiving too as it appears you're parked slightly uphill.

So on my '07 I have a 1.5" spacer up front and nothing in the rear. I'm looking to lift the entire thing some more and provide better suspension.

That is what I'm looking at. Does that sound along the lines of what I'm wanting?
Within the next few weeks I'll be ordering the Shrockworks front bump so it'll also need to accommodate the added weight.

Sounds like a solid plan! You'll love the ride and handling with the Icon suspension. SW makes an excellent bumper. Built like a tank and great craftsmanship. Be prepared to wait awhile for it though. You'll also have to readjust the preload on the C/O springs after the SW is installed. Good luck and post pics in your build thread!

That's some nice suspension. Man I couldn't think to spend that much on just suspension. I spent les than that for my suspension and tire stuff in my signature and another set of tires.

Thanks! I'll definitely get a build thread started once I start ordering things .. I've heard great reviews about the Icon Suspension, but do you know of any alternatives? I like to keep my options open

Add another one to the list of great reviews for Icon. Excellent ride on and off road. Handling is night and day compared to oem. As far as options, there are lots out there. Take a look at the first post in this thread. IMO, replacing the shocks and springs as you're planning to do is the best way to go about it. Buy once, cry once. Some other manufacturers you might want to take a look at are Fox, King, Radflo and Toytec. Of those brands, the only other one I have first hand experience are Fox. They came oem on my Raptor and so far I'm very happy with them. But then SVT and Fox put in tons of man hours doing R&D out in the desert to get it right. If I were ever to replace the Fox shocks on the Raptor, it would be with Icons.

I've been very impressed with my Icon setup. I had Radflo 2.0's before and feel the Icon is far superior. I'm sure there are deals out there, but here's one place I know you can get a pretty good deal on Icon.

Just a thought that id like you to confirm or clear up if you dont mind ? I have the 2.5 daystar spacer kit already pressed on tacoma springs and shocks that i was contemplaitng to install on the runner in the place of the xreas front suspension and keep the rear air bags active ? Is it possible to removeand install different shocks and springs up front and then replace the rear shocks with factory length ? I assumed the shocks in the front just work with the shocks in the rear on the opposite side. May be a newb question but wanted to confirm from you pros. Thanks in advance.

Shocks and springs are from a 05 tacoma trd sport . Not sure if these are even compatable with the runner but i dont see why not ? As long as bolts are in line ?

The Tacoma front shocks/coils and rear shocks will fit the 4runner, but the lower bushing has to be swapped out on the rear shocks. You will have to replace all four shocks, can't swap just the front.

So any problem you for see if I replace the rear shocks with stock length shocks not to over extend the bags,But use the Tacoma set up in the front

Nope, none at all. You do need to be aware though, the Tacoma coils will lift 1"+ in the front, so I wouldn't suggest adding the Daystar 2.5" spacer. Do you have a v6 or v8? Is yours a 4x4?

So if i buy rear shocks 1 ' bigger and adjust air bags to still level out the runner is this a good idea or bad if i use the spacers ? Or is it just better to remove air bags and buy rear shocks and springs to match front taco springs with spacers ?

What's your plans for the 4runner (daily driving, off road, towing, etc)? That will determine what you will want to do. How much lift would you like to have?

Daily driver that i can take exploring on outland adventures around our lake and into the rockies. Nothing to crazy. I would like to get max lift for best bang for buck with out going over the 3' diff drop and driveline issues that occur. I was thinking to utilize the tacoma shocks i already have and keeping air bags in tact for towing small holiday trailer and guad trailer. Xreas is leaking so its going for sure. If i need to remove air bags then i will do that but for now i was trying to utilize tacoma parts for front and just replace rear shocks to accomplish a leveling out ? Its a 2003 v-8 runner limited.
