4th Gen with replacement electric fan?

Hey guys, I'm getting ready to do my timing belt in the near future here and was wondering if anyone has replaced their engine driven fan / clutch assembly with an electric fan?
Any benefits to doing this?

I'm asking because several years ago, when I had a Ramcharger, it seemed that a lot of people were doing this mod, to save a few hp. Just another thing being driven by the engine. It'll also make changing the timing belt much easier next time.

Anyway, please let me know your thoughts on this.

I see noone else has chimed in so ill post what little I know. From what Ive read the cooling performance isnt as good in most cases going with the electric version. Some people do the swaps if they ford deep water so they can turn the fan off. I wouldnt mind this too if there was more to gain but it seems in my case there isnt much.
