4th Genners: What amps do you have under your front seats?

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a 4 channel amp for the front & rear speaks (I'm liking the Planet Audio AC1600.4). Obviously the amp has to be small enough to fit under the front passenger seat, but I was wondering what other amps you guys decided to get - and if you have been having good luck with them, or bad luck with them overheating, etc. Brand names, model numbers, etc.

It fits real well

Rf t600-2, jl 300/2. Fit no problems or overheat.

Two Hertz 4 channels, one under each front seat; no issues. Had a Alpine before that which also fit well.

I just went through this same problem, and settled on this guy. I couldn't believe how small it was once I saw it in person, I had seen pics of it but still couldn't believe how small it was once I saw it. It's a JL XD 4 Channel, and it's so small, I'm going to try to mount it where the stock navi goes instead of under the seat

Very cool! Pretty amazing how small they are getting with things now. There's also a Rockford Fosgate that looks to be about the same size as that.

Thanks for all the model #'s guys! Seems like there are plenty that fit. Do you pay attention during winter months about placing the vent position selector to the feet position? My wife likes to have it in the vent/feet position and I just worry that the air blowing out of the lower duct going to the back seat is going to be blowing right on the amp as well and cause it to overheat.

Just a thought...

i just cut out 2 2''x2''x3/4'' mdf, and use those as spacers, its high enough to let air from the vent through. no overheat.

Focal FPP4100. I need to figure out an amp for a sub. Contemplating just putting a Focal iBus 20 in. It looks like a pretty nice powered sub and then I won't have to worry about finding another amp location.

I will be installing a PPI P900.4 (10x6.5x2") and PDX-M12 (10x7.5x2) under my front seats. From what I've read, I don't expect any fitment or overheating issues. I haven't decided how I am going to navigate the heater vents yet but don't expect that to be a major issue. Also, I am planning to mount my 3sixty.2 inside the glovebox shelf if I can make all the wires fit. If not, it may go under the seats too since its fairly tiny.

I have an Alpine PDX 5 under my passenger seat, and it fits along with 2 Crossovers and no space issues. I've never had any overheating issues, and the adjustments are easily accessible.

The drivers seat covers the other 2 crossovers and the gigantic Pioneer XM radio tuner.
