4WD System HELP!

I have a 04 SR5 4WD, I went to do a little off roading and found a pretty slick roadand was planning on having a little fun if you know what I mean. Two wheel drive not fun, the VSC system kept the damn thing straight. I switched to 4WD, same result. so I hit the diff lock it said VSC off and it seemed to have no different result. Is the VSC always working or is there anyway tho turn it off? Any help, advice, or techniques would be appreciated.

When the center diff is locked the VSC is disabled but you still have traction control. Some say you can overpower the traction control by excessive throttle, I don't see the need to beat my vehicle that way.

When you switch the DIFF LOCK, your VSC is shutting off, but TRAC is still on.
Koz, you don't have to overpower the truck to make donuts, Traction control is reacting differently when it's working without VSC. Another thing is that both front and rear axles are spinning, so Traction may not engage. I can spin all 4 tires and go fishtailing with a little gas on sleepy surface. On hard dry asphalt, you absolutely right Koz, overpowering is the only way, and I agree with you that it's the way to kill the truck.
