Awesome thanks! Truck looks beautiful here, and would love to see those new pics if you have a minute - guessing they are somewhere in the forum, but...see the one with the sliders and if it's gone further let us know!

Prepped it all today to start POR-15 tomorrow.

Also ordered sliders from 4xI at the same time, but will probably wait to get the suspension set up before putting even more weight on it.

Thanks! Lots of pics in my build thread (link in sig), those last two are pretty close to where it is now, other than a different roof basket and an awning. The next couple of mods won't be visible when they're done.

Perfect - great photos. That last one here looks pretty far from St. Louis - would have had to pass right though my neck o' the woods to get there.

First coat of POR-15 went on the rear bumper today.

I think I've settled on getting this bumper. Does anyone have mud flaps on theirs? Can you get it ordered with the swing out hinge but not the swing out in case I want to add it later?

I skipped any mud flaps - looks great as is on my '01 that only has the chrome trim on the fenders. You should have no problem ordering the bumper with the outer hinge and the peg for a later swingout installation. Their order form isn't perfect, but if needed just follow up with an email. Adam is responsive.

Looks great! What did you paint it with? Mine was just delivered on Saturday and I am looking for paint options. I don't want to go with powder coating. I know it will get scratched and paint makes touch up much more feasible.


also love the drawers setup and the fridge. i built drawers a couple years ago. i'm hoping to get a fridge before summer

Thanks, I just used rustoleum from home depot. Sanded it good and wiped it down with alcohol before painting, seems to be holding up really well.
