I could imagine that color is not as popular as Toyota would like it to be. To me, after a few days, it will get old fast.

This may be the case. When I took mine back to the dealer for the 5k Toyotacare appointment, I was surprised to see another voodoo blue 4R out on the lot. Personally, I love the color as it reminds me and my wife of a 97 Rav4 we used to own in Italy, but I can see how others think it's too 'loud' or doesn't fit. However, it still must be sortof popular at least in a niche market because there's another voodoo blue 4R here on base, as well as a Tacoma and Tundra in voodoo blue. I also see several FJs in the same color fairly often. I almost NEVER see cavalry blue...
