I really don't understand why people hate rap with a passion, its just another form of entertainment. I'm almost 36 and I still listen to it every now and than.

I don't get heavy metal but I'm not out there putting down those who enjoy it.

Busta Rhymes had a few second gen 4Runner's and has a burgundy FZJ80 in the music video for Got You All in Check.

They didn't trash them out with ugly ass dubs back in those days either.

Possibly. There are a bunch of FZJ80's in NYC. Toyota trucks were that kind of cool back in the day.

Wu Tang Clan has a bunch of LC references here and there. They were also big on the original Mazda MPV.

To me there's two different categories. There's rap and there's hip-hop. Hip-hop is where you have some serious talent. Some lyrical poets and ridiculous dj's. That can range from folks the Wu-Tang, Outkast, Boogie Down Productions (KRS-One specifically), Eric B and Rakim, Black Star, Public Enemy, Jurassic 5, Tribe Called Quest, the list goes on and on.

Then to me theres rap. Where people put out mostly crap to decent beats to get played in clubs. That is largely what I see around today. That includes 50 Cent. Kanye I put in this category too even though I think he's a talented MC.
