TRD intake + something, something? (i'm assuming the new smog pump gobbledygook hasn't mucked up intake fitment in the newer models.)

Are spacers safe? I love the idea to get the wheels pushed out a bit. I don't have any experience with them? Does Toyota sell them?

Doubtful. So is this $500 only for use at the dealer? As in Toyota bucks? Stereo upgrade for XM/Sirius if you don't already have it?

In Chicago, block heater isn't a bad suggestion as stated.
I guess the question is what do they have to offer? Just Toyota upgrades or have the got a slew of third party aftermarket stuff.
Alarm upgrades are nice. Have kids? good ole boob tubes to keep them occupied.
The cold air intake would be sweet if you can get a hold of the TRD cat back exhaust, else I wouldn't spend the money, the two go hand in hand.
As someone else already mentioned I would consider 17" wheels if they would give you some trade allowance for what is already there, the 20"s rubber is few and fair between and much more expensive per tire.

there isn't any TRD exhaust for the 4Runner; not even the TRD Pro. a Magnaflow or similar high-flow muffler chopped into the OEM's place gets you most of the benefit for a fraction of the price, anyway.
i'd have suggested the TRD CAI + Magnaflow combo, but my understanding is that OP has $500 to spend on Toyota parts, accessories, or service.
: and trd was toyota which would qualify, so if it did exist it would be sweet. That's all. *shrug*

Toyota may say its $400 but I know its not that freaking expensive.
but then again you canucks get shafted on pricing for a lot of things.
looking on ebay a block heater is between $45-80 and it takes around 1hr to install it, worst case is 2hrs.
like I said they are charging you $150/hr for labor and at tops $100 for the block heater.
