5100 ride quality.. can it be better?

My current set up on my SR5 is 5100s with factory coils at 1.75". Rear is also 5100s with Cornfed 1" spacers. Tires are P285/70R17 Falken AT3W at 32 psi. I do think the ride is better than stock, but I still find myself wishing the vehicle was "soaking up" the bumps in the road better. It seems that the rear end is too "bumpy".

I understand this isn't a top-of-the-line set up. I also probably don't need thousand dollar plus coilovers or reservoir shocks. My question is if I would notice a big difference with new coils, or if I should save my money for something better than 5100s?

I'm pondering going with the Toytec 521600 coils and dropping my front circlip down to the bottom setting. Then also ditching the rear spacers for Toytec Superflex coils.

Alternatively, I'm also thinking about just getting some Wheelers T13 coils for the rear, and leaving my front set up as is. My ride quality issues seem to be primary felt in the rear, so maybe just these would make things better.

Any input would be appreciated!

This is literally exactly what I posted a couple hours ago, interested to see if you get any different responses. It also makes me happy that you think there is an improvement in ride with almost the exact setup I'm going with soon. 285 falken at3w and bilsteins [emoji1303]

Having seen multiple people start with a spacer in the rear and end up replacing the rear springs anyway, it probably does make a difference. It wouldn't be much out of pocket to try it to see if that is what you are looking for (assuming you swap the coils yourself).

I was pretty happy with the SAW (basically T13) coils with bilstein 5100's, I had the Boss front coiler so it probably doesn't compare. When my bilstein started leaking I got the Boss rear shocks and HD springs which suits my current setup better.

The superflex coils are 10% stiffer not sure they are going to help, as i posted in the other thread I am running them with 5100s and its rough in the back without extra weight for daily driving. Now smacking curbs or similar sized bumps at speed are definatly soaked up nicely.

Thank you for the info. I rarely ever have any extra weight when daily driving, so that is definitely something to keep in mind with coil choice. Looking at the Wheelers T13 they are 12% stiffer. YotaDan Do you think they would be a good match with my 5100s if I leave my front set at 1.75"?
