5100's + d.s. spacer

I've done some searching but come up empty handed. I already have a day star 2.5" front spacer and I just ordered some adjustable 5100's and icon uca's. I want to keep the spacer and set the 5100's to the 2nd setting (.85" I believe) with stock 4runner springs. Is this going to be a problem?

how much lift are you trying to achieve? in your situation lift coils would probably be a better option to get the height you want

I'm trying to get another 1" or so. I bought the 5100's because the stock struts are way to soft/bouncy.

Just to update incase anyone else is wondering in the future.

I installed the new 5100's and Icon UCA's. I wanted to maintain the top spacer so I didn't need to preload the spring so much and I was also thinking it would not allow the tire to stuff up into the fender as much thus eliminating some rubbing I had. This did not work out the way I had planned. The 5100's were about 1/2" longer than my stock struts. So the 5100's and the day star spacer combined allowed for to much droop. The Uniball was maxed out and there was still droop left in the strut. It didn't look good at all. So I took the spacer off and bumped the bilstein up to the top notch (2.5"). It sat slightly higher than the ds spacer did (maybe 1/2-3/4") but it rides alot better.

So now I just ordered some OME 884's with the toytec 3/4" top spacer. I'm not planning on adding aftermarket bumpers and I wanted to run the top spacer again in hopes it would help keep the tire out of the fender. Hopefully this will be the last time I need to take the front end apart...

Could have just done the 885's and skipped the spacer. 884 & 885 are the same rate, 885 is just 10mm taller.
