$5k for mods what would you do?

If you were allowed 5K dollars for mods to you t4r. What would you do?

1. Performance ?
2. Armor ?
3. audio ?
4. lights ?
5. gear ?
?.
?.
Just trying to get some ideas of what others would do.

I don't really go for the performance mods on a 4runner.

I'd spend it on: lift, skid plates, sliders, front bumper, winch, roof rack, new wheels, new tires.

Its a good list, not sure how much wheeling you do, but I'd recommend a bumper and winch set up and start with some armor. Maybe a backseat ******* could fit into the list somewhere as well...

I try to wheel at least once a month or more if possible.

I have 4 of the 8. debating weather to go deeper into the suspension/lockers (performance) or the other stuff.

or... you could swap in a 1VD-FTV twin turbo...........

its a 4.5L v8 turbo diesel that gets on average 10.1L/100km or 22.8mpg.

since its the motor from the landcruiser 200 series which has all the same nifty gadgets and KDSS i would suspect that its possible....
