what is the biggest tires y'all are fitting on a 2.5 lift on a 5th gen. id like to see calls pictures and specs! heres mine! I'm running 255/75s bfg mud terrains

The biggest tire you can fit with a lift makes no difference to the biggest you can run stock. Unless your mall crawling it and never go on uneven terrain. But most 285/70-17's will work with some minor fender liner trimming.

looks like ill be doing 285/70r17, but I've read that Nitto trail grapplers will run bigger than the bfg KO2. I'm just trying to get away with minimal rubbing and not having to do a body chop because i want to run the nittos

you are comparing an MT to an AT so ya there is a differnce

I've looked at that link before but I'm not entirely sure how to read it. gives me somewhat of a ball park if they're going to fit but the guide is for stock height 5th gens right?

If you lift it and put bigger tires on, they will still rub if you flex the suspension.

When you flex the front end and stuff that tire up into the fender well while turning, you don't have any rubbing?

This picture is kind of an awkward angle, it sits higher off the tire than it looks because it's on a hill. I haven't actually gotten the chance to take it hardcore offroading since the lift, but with all the awkward hills and driveways around my campus, I've had zero rubbing. Oh I should also add I took the mudflaps off.
