I have a 2017 Offroad Prem w/KDSS.
Has anyone installed the Bilsteins 6112 and if so did you happen to put the setting equal for both sides?
Ive been reading non KDSS has the driver lean but with KDSS you'll get the opposite lean but also sometimes not?
I want to order the 6112 built since i dont want to buy a spring compressor and all that sooooo i need to specify which ring/setting both needs to be.

any help would be great!

You will like the 5100's....I would get all 4 and a set of Daystar 1.5'' spacers for the back while going max on the front setting. Get some UCA's and be set for any tire size up to 285's AND still get the caster back to stock. I really like the ride and cured the front dive on mine.:keyboard:

I believe this may be the setup I'm looking for. The end goal is to give a lift, be able to put 285's with some slightly wider rims (17x8.5 or 9), and rid the front diving some are mentioning. I'd like to do some off-roading, but nothing too serious.

So did you just get daystar "rear" spacers? And how much lift does this essentially give?

The 2.5 front and 1.5 back will sit you dead level. I have 17X9 Mamba M-14's with -12 backspace. The rear 5100's are made to accept the 1.5'' lift.....stock shocks are too short. The SPC UCA's make it drive like stock, not twitchy. I have right at $2400 in my whole lift, Tires and wheels using Amazon and 4Wheelparts delivered! Including the Sliders I have $40K buying the whole rig!:hungry:

Is there a downside of running coilovers all around or is it an option?

I'm wanting a ~3" lift with bilstein 5160's all around.
Daily driver with a slim chance of doing any off roading.
#1 priority is a comfy ride.

I just ordered 5100's and the 1.5" daystar rear lift. For now I'm going to put them in the middle setting since I will be rocking the stock rubbers and when I need new tires I'll bump it up and put on UCAs as well.

TotalAutomotive had the best prices I could find on the 5100's. $360 for all for -2016 T4R Trail and I believe around $60 for the rear spacer!

What kind of mileage are you guys seeing with the toytec boss (pre 2.5). I'm at 40k and it seems I've lost some lift and they're not absorbing bumps like they used to. I'm also running front/rear bumpers, winch, roof rack so I've got some weight on them. I'm wanting to replace it in the next 12 months with something purpose built for my extra weight and a actual 3" lift. Suggestions?

Hello! I've tried the search feature and apparently I have no idea how to use the forum.

I have a 2016 Trail with no KDSS and I want to put Bilstien 5100 on it. I HATE the nose dive and I read the Bilstiens will help with this. I have stock UCA and plan to keep it that way for a while.

I put a PM to Total Automotive Performance but my real question is where do I find that extra lift spacer for the rear I keep reading about and when is it needed. I really want a SLIGHT rake with the rear being higher as I usually load the back with a full YETI and fly fishing gear. I'm thinking that would give me a level look.

The plan is to rock the stock tires and rims then upgrade the tires when needed.

Question: other than cosmetics (taller stance, bigger tires, etc) and a couple of inches of ground clearance why bother going through the expense of getting a lift? For day to day driving I see no advantage, perhaps a disadvantage in terms of body roll.

So after doing quite a bit of research, I've narrowed it down to a few options. I'm looking for a setup that will allow me to run 285's, give still a decent ride on the highway, and take care of some of the diving (when braking) and body roll.

This is the kit I'm seriously considering. Is it overkill? Also, do I need to consider new UCA's?

Not quite 885/889, but I am running 884s/895es with TC UCAs and stock wheels/Falken AT3Ws in stock size, drives much firmer, which was my goal

More like a 2.0 IIRC, but I'm not running any extra weight on the truck as it is.

Lift specs will be as follows:

Rear - Bilstein 5100's w/Wheeler T13 coils
Staying under 2.5" upfront will most likely try to work with Stock UCA's

Truck is a 5th Gen(2011) SR5 w/3rd row seat.

I'm curious about 5100 vs icon 2.0 paired with the T13 coil for the 1.5" lift in back?
