Since you are playing with the sound, I do think you might want a deeper tone with a super44.

IMO, The super 44 is a similar sound to the 40 series as the 70 series is to the 50 series sound. It's not quite the sound I was going for. I had a Flowmaster 40 on my 4.0 Tacoma and I never was quite satisfied with the tone at higher speeds. I'd like to hear how this 70 series sounds next to a 40 or 44 on a t4R in person to compare. The audio on my video really just doesn't give it justice.

I have a vid on YouTube of my super 44, maybe you can try to compare that with yours. As long you are happy with the 70, even though it's a bigger muffler, bigger mufflers usually means quieter from what I read on these forums.
