5th gen gas siphoning

Anyone attempted siphoning gas out of their 4Runner? I'm thinking for scenarios where you're running on generator and need gas for that or just removing old gas and running it through a lawnmower or something. My car has been sitting quite a bit during the pandemic. I have a siphon that works great on my older GMC truck and small engines, however I tried it on my car and it wasn't going to work. Googling says most modern cars have the anti roll ball valve and more bends compared to older cars. My siphon hose is probably on the bigger side. Its this one.

Amazon.com: Plumber’s Siphon Pro - Gas, Oil, Water - Up to 3.5 Gl. Per Min. ONLY Siphon With Multi-size Tip Designed to Fit Any Hose.Comes with 9 ft. Hose. Brass Tip Weight or Extender – See Video in Pictures: Automotive

Was thinking I could try a much smaller hose based siphon? Or just don't attempt this again? I know some people have pulled gas from the fuel rail area using the pump to push it. Just looking for info on this as I didn't find much. My other car is a 2011 Honda CRV that I haven't tried this on. But that is my current daily driver so old gas is not a problem.

"A little research into modern-day siphoning, revealed that all new cars have an anti-rollover valve on all the openings into a gas tank. These valves also act as a siphon prevention system, which is the reason why nearly all the siphon devices and pumps sold these days are useless." Google

Don't think there is a good answer , I was just looking at that area for a fuel pump replacement and if the spare tire was down you could likely get to there the fuel neck connects to the top of the tank. No idea how that connection comes apart/off but that's where I would start if it was critical

Pull a hose near the fuel rail and jump the correct pins in the engine bay to turn on the fuel pump.

That's probably why today's gas thief just knocks a hole in the tank. And while they are down there, they cut out the catalytic converter.

I know a guy who drilled a tap into a Camaro tank so he can remove gas in the tank because his crackhead brother would steal/use it for joy rides at night
Well the brother hits a dip breaks the tap loses gas stalls in the dark he flicks his cigarette and walla s.o.s found and can be seen for miles
Stupid is as stupid does Forrest
