5th Gen hitch size ?

Does anyone know what size hitch tongue fits the 5th gen T4R? I thought it was a 2in, but I was using a buddys trailer and 2in tongue this past weekend and it was very loose in the hitch receiver and banging around all over the place.

It's a 2". I have a Thule bike rack and a hitch cover, both are 2" and fit good.

I doubt you can find anything close to the two-inch square receiver of the 4Runner without spotting the difference. Standard drawbars/ball mounts are 1¼" square, 2" square, and 2½" square. Drawbar/ball mount dimensional tolerances account for some sloppy fits.

I noticed the same thing . unloaded it ratted like hell.

its 2" but the ball mounts are often quite sloppy. ive found the solid cast ones are often much better sized.

Lmfao, like hurling a hotdog down a hallway! My hitch d-shackle also flops around in there, maybe they hit the town together........
