Anyone have the part numbers for "Mirrors from a JDM Fortuner (puddle lights)"?

I'm looking on ebay for the mirrors. what is the year range I need to look for? I see some that say 2009-2014 will those work? Or Do I need the ones that say for 2016 fortuner and are a little more expensive? lol

Mirrors

kinda of a separate question but related. If I am just removing the mirror assembly do I need to remove the entire door trim or can the mirror be removed with out taking the entire door apart? Any help is much appreciated. I am guess I will have to remove the entire door trim to gain access to the mirror wire harness.

No need to remove the entire door panel. I just swapped my '11 mirrors with black gloss ones from an '18. The only reason you'd need to loosen the door panel (not completely remove it) is so that you can switch out the cable running power to the mirrors.

There's a bolt behind the interior door handle covered with a plastic tab. That tab has to be taken off but use plastic panel tools. Once that's off, just pry back the far side of the panel closest to the mirror but don't yank it (interior panel clips). Then remove the interior triangular cover behind the mirror where you'll have three bolts. Those three hold the mirror in place.

Now if someone could come up with a solution for power telescoping towing mirrors similar to the Tundra mirrors.

What would you say total cost is for this project is? As a person that has tight 2 car garage. I ripped off my passager side mirror 4 months after buying my 16' I want this feature bad.

I haven't even made the first payment on my 4runner and I just did this. LOL :bash:
