Toyotapartsdeal.....around $270 and the rear window was about $120 on E-Bay. I hope the third brake light survived as it is like $100+!

Have to replace my spoiler, read the other posts and reviewed the PDF that was posted. Any special tricks or tools needed in the first step to remove the "rear NO 1 spoiler cover"?

Has anyone removed the late, (2015+) 5th gen rear spoiler? I would like to remove mine for a mod but dont want to tear it up. There are 4 bolts that hold it but it is still not free so I am thinking there are clips but I dont want to break it so havent pulled hard. Any pics with it off?

Just curious, what mod are you doing that requires the spoiler to come off?

Nothing broke when I pulled it so I re-used everything and didn't buy the felts either, but used silicone instead.

This may seem like a dumb question, but I’m going to be doing this in the next few days. What kind of silicone did you us? And did you put silicone on the entire portion that previously had the felt? Thanks!

Clear RTV and I put a thin layer everywhere the felts were and let it dry before putting the spoiler on...I just tried to mimic the thickness of the felt but with silicone. Been a year and working great.
